If you download or use our app and - if possible - you have enabled location-based services or generally agreed to make use of them, you possibly transmit information about your whereabouts, your device as well as an identification number that can uniquely be assigned to your device to us. We may use this information to offer you location-based services, such as search results or other personalized contents. Most mobile devices allow their users to turn off location-based services. In most cases, this can be done under "settings" in the menu of your device. If you have any questions about how you can turn off location-based services on your device, we recommend you to contact your mobile service provider or the manufacturer of your device.
We only store and process personal data (specifically: username, password, email address, phone number, registration date, profile picture, status, account ID of the application; when registering via Facebook Connect: Facebook account ID, facebook name, personal email address stored in facebook, publicly accessible friends list, date of birth, gender; when registering via Google +1: Google account ID, Google+ name, public profile, date of birth, gender, personal email address stored in Google+) if you provide us with this information voluntarily, for example when registering within the application. Judge it! gets access to the contacts of your address book so that friends using the app will be directly shown to you and so your friends will be notified that you are using the app as well in order to be able to invite you to votings. This data is not stored at any time (see address data synchronization below). Your Judge it! user name and your profile picture will be shown to other app users. This way you can be found using the contact search function. Furthermore, your user name appears in the participants list of votings you took part in. All other personal data will not be shown or used publicly at any time. In addition, Judge it! stores data about the votings in which you take part or which you initiate on your device or on the server used by the app in order to be able to show you all votings you have participated in so far in a chronological order. Judge it! uses your network connection to establish a connection to the Internet. This is required so you can get in touch with your friends in the app and vote. Judge it! uses the vibration function and acoustic signals to inform you about new votings and messages from your friends in the app. In addition, Judge it! gets access to your camera and photo gallery, so you can also use photos for voting purposes and send photos within the chat function.
Judge it! accesses the memory of the device used, in order to store voting data in an own, private folder and to access that data. Judge it! does not get any kind of access to other data or folders of the device used.The data will be kept confidential and only be used for the operation, the purpose and use of the services offered by tAPPing forward GmbH for the app Judge it!. The data is not used for advertising purposes. If you give us your e-mail address or phone number, you will receive information on how to use the app, updates and news about Judge it!. E-mail addresses and telephone numbers from the address book of your device are encrypted and transferred to our servers. Our servers keep the corresponding values in their RAM (random-access-memory) only briefly to identify the list of matching IDs; the data will immediately be discarded after this matching process. At no point in time will the values or the results of the matching progress be written on a hard drive or otherwise be stored.
In the event of a crash the app will automatically send information (state of the app at the time of the crash, latest log messages), so we can fix such problems. These data will not allow us to draw any conclusions about a particular user.
